In Vitro Fertilization

Egg Donor IVF

Egg donor IVF is a form of fertility treatment where an egg is obtained from a donor, fertilized in the lab with the male partner’s sperm or donor sperm and then transferred into the woman’s uterus.  This is a treatment option for someone who can not use their own eggs. Egg donor IVF may be ideal for women with:

  • Diminished ovarian reserves
  • Age related infertility
  • Repeated IVF failures
  • Recurrent pregnancy loss
  • Genetic disease risk
  • Post-cancer treatment where ovaries were damaged or removed
  • Premature ovarian failure

Egg Donor IVF for LGBTQ families

Gay males couples who want to build a family will require an egg donor. One male partner can be genetically related to the child.  A surrogate would be required to carry the pregnancy and give birth to the child. We can refer LGBTQ families to a trusted surrogacy service partner.
