• Parking Lot Access: When you arrive, you can park in our large adjacent parking lot. The lot has plenty of open space and sits directly off Lomita Blvd.
• Finding Our Office: Once inside the medical building, head up to the second floor. You will find our team ready to welcome you in Suite 200.
• Public Transit Options: If you are traveling by bus, Torrance Transit Line 8 runs directly along Hawthorne Blvd, stopping right at the corner of Hawthorne Blvd and Lomita Blvd. From that stop, it is just a short, flat 4-minute walk to our front lobby. Rifaat D. Salem, MD, PhD — Medical Director & Chairman

Dr. Rifaat D. Salem leads our practice with a deep background in reproductive science. He graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) Medical School and earned his doctorate (PhD) in Neuroendocrinology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Dr. Salem held two prestigious National Institutes of Health (NIH) Fellowships, where he performed breakthrough research on how steroid hormones work in the body.

Shala A. Salem, MD — Fertility Specialist

Dr. Shala A. Salem graduated from UCLA with a degree in psychobiology and neuroscience before earning her medical degree (MD) from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She proudly joined the Pacific Reproductive Center team in 2009.

Dr. Shala recently finished a specialized fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona under the well-known Dr. Andrew Weil.
